Hey all. Things are going well here. Still. lol. We went househunting on Saturday. We saw 6 houses in about 4 hours. Not too bad. The one I showed pictures of before is now our number two pick. Our number one pick is close to the other one. I forgot to take pictures, but we’re going to go back the next time we go out and look at houses. Here are the stats on the two houses:
First Choice
- 3 Bedrooms
- 2 Bathrooms
- 2 Car Garage
- 1422 ft2
- 18 minutes to Caleb’s work
- $98,000
Second Choice
- 3 Bedrooms
- 1 Bathroom
- 1 Car Garage
- 1323 ft2
- 17 minutes to Caleb’s work
- $98,900
So, yeah, we’re liking the first choice best. We’re still looking, though. We have a bunch more we’re going to look at on Tuesday. I’ll try to remember to take pictures.lol
Other than that, things are going well. I’ve been looking into taking some college classes online at the school Caleb is going to. He’s starting his Arabic class here soon and I’m going to do it with him. I originally was going to just do it with him for fun, but today I decided I actually want to take some classes. Oklahoma is so incredibly boring that I’d rather go to school. lol. So, I’m going to take the Arabic class with Caleb. Of course, registration ended on Thursday, so I’m going to do the class with Caleb now, then register for my own class next month and take it again. lol. If I don’t pass, I must really be retarded. lol. I’m also looking at some Medical Terminology, Spanish and Accounting classes. I have no idea if I’m going to go for a degree. Right now I’m just going to have some fun.
As far as the job thing goes, I kinda stopped looking there for a while. lol. With Christmas and New Year’s, I wanted to take a break for a bit and just have some free time where I could spend more time with Caleb. It’s been nice. I did have an interview this past Thursday and I have two more tomorrow. Maybe one of those will be the one. The two tomorrow are relatively close to both of the houses we like, so that’s a good thing.
Kadie is doing well. Her potty training is progressing well and she’s not sleeping on the bed anymore. She is starting to get bratty when we leave her alone, though. We got called by our apartment today on the way home from church because Kadie was barking. Dang dog. Seriously, though, who calls to complain about barking dogs DURING THE DAY and in a building that is only for tenants with pets? Crazy people. I can understand if it was late at night or early in the morning, but at noon? We didn’t get in trouble, though, so that was good. I told her we were on our way home from church and would have it taken care of in a few minutes. I can’t wait to have a house where we can put her in the backyard when we need to leave. We usually let her hang out in the living room while we’re gone and get no complaints, but the past few times she has been tearing the living room to shreds, so today we left her in the kennel while we were at church. Not such a good idea. Oh well. Tomorrow I’m taking her to Dan’s house to put her in his backyard so I can do my interviews. At least we have that.
So, yeah, things are going really well. We’re both happy and healthy and enjoying life. Oh, and we can’t wait to get to St George in February! Yay! Only 26 more days until we leave!
