What a beautiful day it is today. It’s about 74 degrees right now and there are a few clouds in an otherwise bright blue sky. There’s a bit of a strong wind, but that’s okay. I enjoy the wind. It feels nice, as long as it’s not knocking any trees over.
It’s been a good day so far today. Yesterday was, too. I always get a little nervous when the supervisors aren’t crabbing at someone. People usually get fired when things are quiet at work. Lol. How sad is that? Hopefully that isn’t the case this time. I think a majority of the employees work well together and aside from a few people, the office has finally found its groove.
A few days ago I was talking with my friend about what I would do if given the opportunity to restructure my office. There are two people I know I’d change their job duties, one of them I might get rid of because as far as I can tell, she doesn’t actually do anything aside from walk around and talk to people. I rarely see her at her desk and when she is there, she’s either texting or talking with someone, and not about work stuff. Now, I know that people will talk from time to time and texting is rather rampant (something I’m guilty of on occasion, though nowhere near as much as some people I’ve seen), but combined with other things, I think other people would be better suited to her position and would be far less abrasive.
Other than that, though, I’d leave most people in their positions, unless some wanted to swap or try something new.
Well, I must cut my fantasy restructuring short, I’m afraid. Break time is over. Back to my own, non-decision-making position. Until next time, have a great day.
