April 2013 General Conference – Craig A. Cardon

The son of man forgives sins.

The Savior forgives sins upon earth and not just at the final judgement.

The Lord loves us and wants us to understand His willingness to forgive.

The Lord does not limit forgiveness to the severity of the sin.

The Savior wants to forgive.

He who sins against the greater light receives the greater condemnation.

As often as we repent and seek His forgiveness, we will be forgiven. Again and again and again.

Rationalized false faith does not justify sin.

The Lord looks upon the light we have received and the desires of our hearts and our actions.

Show confidence in the person and be not judgmental.

People can change. They can put behind them their shortcomings.

We all sin and come short of the glory of God again and again.

We are commanded to repent and forgive.

The Lord loves you and wants to forgive.

The Savior forgives sins on earth, not just at the final judgement.”
…The Savior does not excuse us in our sins, nor condone our return to past sins, but forgives them to the repentant
