Lately, with work and life being so stressful, I’ve been enjoying taking a break from the world by playing some online card games. I play video games with Tim sometimes, but I’m not a huge video game person. I prefer card and board games. It’s nice to play with groups of friends, but sometimes it’s nice to just chill by myself and play against an AI.
One of the websites I like to play on is Solitaire.org. It’s not as overwhelming as some online game sites. The layout is really simple and allows you to just focus on the game you’re playing. A lot of other online game sites have a lot of ads, which can be really distracting. I like how this one avoids all that mess.
While the name of the site makes you think it’s dedicated to the game solitaire, that is far from the case. This site is full of all sorts of games. Card games, logic games, puzzle games, and all sorts of other games. There’s literally something for everyone.
When you first go onto the website, you’re greeted with the website’s namesake. As a kid, this was one of the only games you could play on the computer. It’s also one of my mom’s favorite games. Seeing this brings back a lot of fun memories.
It’s nice to play that for a little while, but like a lot of people, sometimes I want to try something new. Each game loads with the instructions showing right away, which is really nice. It is so much easier to have the instructions pop up than to go search for them. Some online card game sites really make it a challenge to figure out where the instructions are. This site makes it easy. And if you don’t want to read the instructions, just click the play button and get on with the game.

Conclusion
Overall, I really like this website. It’s simple and no frills, which is what I like. All the extra stuff can get overwhelming, especially all the ads. This site has no ads, just games. It’s a good place to hang out and just have fun.
