Pangkor Island Sunset

Back in June we had the opportunity to go to Pangkor Island for Troy’s birthday. He loves to snorkel and for his birthday that is all he wanted to do, so we drove up to Lumut and hopped a ferry to the island. We spent the entire day snorkeling and kayaking around the island before ending the day with a walk on the beach to watch the sunset. It was a really beautiful experience. The color of the sky, the sound of the waves, the smell of the ocean and being with someone special. We sat on a wooden bench by a Muslim woman who was watching the swimmers and watched the sunset along with other families playing on the beach for a little while. Then we wandered up by some of the little street shops to check out their wares and sample their treats before sitting on a retaining wall to watch some more of the sunset. Then we went back down to our little wooden bench to squish our toes in the sand while watching the sun take its final descent in  an array of vibrant colors. Definitely an experience to remember.
